PRE-SHAVE
  • Make sure you start by washing your body or face to get rid of any dirt that could clog the razor, or even worse, your pores!
  • Pick a soap that isn't harsh as this will strip the skin of the nutrients it needs. A good option is the rich creamy lather of UpCircle's chocolate charcoal soap bar.
  • Exfoliating also helps to give a closer shave as it lifts the hairs, and eliminates dead skin cells which can lead to ingrown hairs.
THE MAIN EVENT
  • Wet the area you want to shave, and whip up a creamy lather using a shaving oil, gel or cream - This is to avoid irritation during, and post, shave.
  • Holding the razor at around 30º angle to the skin, gently let the weight of the razor head glide over your skin. You don't need to add any pressure, the weight of the razor will be enough!
  • Shave in the direction of hair growth,rather than against it, and pull the skin tight especially on areas where it is loose like the knees, ankles and neck.
  • Remember to rinse the razor regularly inbetween strokes to clean away the hair and residue, and once finished, wash your skin with cool water and pat dry.
POST-SHAVE
  • This is a step that many forget, but it's an important one... Moisturise, Moisturise Moisturise!
  • Face, legs, armpits, chest and any other areas that is now fuzz free!  This will make sure your skin doesn't dry out and stays silky smooth, whilst giving your skin a bit of massage TLC.
REPLACING BLADES
  • Unscrew the handle from the two-part head, remove blunt blade and insert new blade.
  • Reattach securely, watching those fingers!
Top Tip: Shaving your armpits can be a bit of a mission! Try shaving in different directions to get every last hair - Once with the grain, once against and once across.

    Ive been wanting to get this for ages and finally glad I did! It only took me one time of using it to adjust and get used to it, so very happy with it! It’s quite weighty which I really like, and just don’t think you can ask for more.

    Very sharp razor!
    This razor is great for shaving underarms, as I think the shape of the head helps. But if you use it for your legs please be very careful. I managed to cut myself in 9 separate places on my leg using it for the first time! My cuts are still healing.

    It definitely does the job and it’s great to know I’m no longer throwing away plastic razors into the bin. The discount scheme on razor blades is a good idea too. If you keep our old blades and send them back you get some money off replacements.

    Just be aware it’s sharper than a disposable razor.

    In all honestly I was quite scared of it when I took it out of its (beautiful) box. It seems quite large and very heavy in comparison to a plastic one but after first use I love it. I find it particularly good on my bikini area. It also looks beautiful in my shower!

    Takes a bit of getting used to when you’ve used plastic razors for so long. But I love the design, the razor makes my legs super smooth and because it’s easy to clean out it prevents bacteria build up that can cause bumpy skin.

    Great item, I wanted to stop using disposable plastic razors and switch to a more eco friendly option bit wanted quality that will last – this safety razor fits the bill brilliantly!

    Beautifully packaged, great build quality – it feels quite heavy in your hand which is great as you don’t feel like you have to use any pressure against your skin. It’s easy to assemble/change blades and the metal has a coating on it which makes looks and feels nice and makes the handle bar nice to grip.

    Definitely worth the price I paid – another win for Upcircle!
